The Egyptianization of Kush
Kush was one of the greatest civilizations in Africa. It was known for its gold mines and the trading center. Kush's location played an important part in the trading center.
In about 1600 b.c.e. Egypt conquered Kush then they were forced to pay tributes in the form of gifts. While Egypt had control over Kush the society became ''Egypyianized'' Kush had to speak in their language, wear Egyptian styled clothes, and worshiped the Egyptian gods. Finally around 1100 b.c.e. Egypt's kindom collapsed and Kush regained independence.
